Many people often use the terms "privacy" and "security" interchangeably when talking about information protection. Although privacy and security are distinctly different, they are also inextricably linked as two facets of an institution's commitment to information protection. This session will discuss the differences and similarities between privacy and security and how this knowledge can be used to establish an effective partnership between an institution's privacy and security functions.
