The Institute for Advanced Study and the University of Scranton are two schools that operate an entire security program with a single dedicated staff person. Some institutions operate with less. This talk will go over some strategies that have worked at IAS and Scranton that help manage the demands of running a security program on a very small staff. Everything from the importance of automation to bartering for resources from other groups on campus will be covered.
