Special Conference Mentoring Program Opportunity

Mentoring Photo

Are you a CISO who's new to your institution? Or a veteran CISO who's new to the higher education community? Perhaps you're a CISO looking for a peer to touch base with.

The 2013 Security Professionals Conference Program Committee is launching a mentoring program for new security managers, directors, and CISOs. Attendees interested in participating can sign up as a mentee (or mentor) during the conference registration process.

CIO and CISO mentors and mentees will be matched prior to the conference and provided more information about next steps, which include organizing a one-on-one meeting at the conference in St. Louis. Several career development related sessions will also be included in the conference program, and anyone volunteering for this new mentoring program is encouraged to attend these sessions (see below for suggested sessions).

Deadline to Register and Sign-up as a Mentor or Mentee: April 10, 2013

Please contact security-council@educause.edu for more information or if you have additional questions about this new mentoring program.

Special thanks to our new Professional Development Mentoring Team!
