Change Leadership Constituent Group

This EDUCAUSE constituent group focuses on the leadership and management challenges posed by the dramatic changes transforming higher education. This group recognizes that leadership is exerted at all levels of an organization and that informal, as well as formal, networks contribute to an institution"s success in responding to change. The group explores best practices, real world examples, and types of leadership. It particularly addresses the role of leadership in strategic planning, the development of shared visions, teamwork, and consensus building. A priority will be to establish mentoring and support groups among participants. This group meets at the EDUCAUSE annual conference and uses the electronic discussion list to discuss issues throughout the year.
