EDUCAUSE Institute Management and Leadership Programs

As you face budget challenges and an ever-changing playing field in higher education IT, exceptional management and leadership skills are in demand now more than ever. EDUCAUSE offers several programs to enhance your success as a current or future IT manager and leader. Facilitated by a faculty of veteran IT leaders, the following programs foster the exchange of information and hands-on learning experiences between peers and with the faculty in a smaller, more intimate setting.

EDUCAUSE Institute Management Program	An existing manager with some supervisory experience	Practical skill development in effective management	A week-long program offered twice a year
EDUCAUSE Institute Leadership Program	A new CIO or an experienced senior-level leader aspiring to CIO/executive-level leadership	Critical success skills for executive leaders & keys to understanding institution-wide IT strategy	A week-long program offered each summer
EDUCAUSE Institute Learning Technology Leadership Program	An experienced individual in a learning technology position who aspires to a leadership role at their institution	To better understand higher education leadership, attributes of effective leaders, and strategic skills for influencing decision-making	An intensive week-long residential program offered once a year
Frye Leadership Institute	A CIO, librarian, information technology professional, or administrator with at least seven years' experience	To learn how to create a collaborative community that takes leadership on critical issues to develop a platform for collective action	An intensive, week-long residential seminar, coupled with online project meetings

Among the EDUCAUSE Institute events, you'll find four dynamic, immersive programs designed to enhance your skills as a leader within a higher education organization. These programs are facilitated by experienced higher education leaders, and the programs foster the exchange of information and hands-on learning experiences.

Programs are limited in size to create an intimate environment for learning, and have been created to develop, refine, and expand your management and leadership skills.
