Mobile devices are everywhere on campus. BYOD, BYOE, IT consumerization, whatever you want to call it, you still need a plan for your campus. - Developing a Campus Mobile Strategy: Guidelines, Tools, and Best Practices, ACTI Guide, January 2013. This guide from the ACTI Mobile Web Frameworks Working Group helps walk you through the steps of: Making the Case for Mobility
- Pathways To Best Practice guides, JISC, September 2012. This JISC funded project pulls together guides that focus on mobile technologies relatd to the library. Each one provides an overview of options, some examples of projects, lessons learned from work so far, key contacts within the area, and additional resources and links.
- Mobile IT in Higher Education, 2011 Report, ECAR Research Report, December 2011. This study found that most survey respondents report little progress in making institutional services, applications, and websites accessible on mobile devices.
- Mobility at Ole Miss: An Evolving Strategy, Elive Webinar, December 2011. This webinar identified some of the big questions surrounding mobility and describes the approach that the University of Mississippi is taking for each.
