Assessing What Faculty, Students, and Staff Expect from Information Technology Organizations in Higher Education
Tuesday, September 7, 2010
Abstract
This ECAR research bulletin covers the TechQual+ approach to assessing what faculty, students, and staff expect from IT organizations in higher education. The theoretical approach to TechQual+ is presented, as are the key data indicators generated through a TechQual+ survey and the future plans for the refinement of the approach. The use of the TechQual+ instrument and tools are demonstrated with examples from two universities.

Dr. Chester,
I was very fortunate to have been with you when you first started working on this initiative at TAMUQ and I am so happy to see it evolve not only as a tool, but also something that allows us to reinforce the philosophy governing service provisioning in higher education IT. Thank you. ravi.
