Abstract
On August 5, 2005, the FCC released an order saying that all facilities-based Internet service providers are subject to the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA). This session will give you background on what prompted this decision, and what impact it may have on your campus or network from legal, technical, and policy perspectives. The session is designed to help gather community input on this important issue through an active discussion format.
