Changing Your Culture and Establishing Direction to Enhance Organizational Effectiveness

Abstract

Using a participatory ranking, evaluation, and goal-setting process, Ball State University's School of Extended Education set a new direction and developed employee buy-in for a major culture change. The school improved efficiency and effectiveness, experienced enrollment growth with fewer employees, and enhanced its value to the university's mission and goals. This presentation will describe the step-by-step process used, as well as some results.
