CIOs and Enterprise IT, The 2010 Southwest Conference, February 17, 2010

Continuing the dialogue generated at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference, CIOs and senior enterprise IT leaders met before the start of the Southwest Regional Conference in Austin for a mix of presentations and discussions around strategies related to the tough issues facing higher education, including the changing role of the IT organization; cloud computing; the power and peril of Web 2.0 tools, and IT in a time of economic constraints. Speakers and facilitators included: Pattie Orr, Baylor University; Marshall Eldson, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor; Joe Gargiulo, Southern Methodist University; Suzanne Montague, the University of Texas at Austin; and Sam Segran, Texas Tech University.
