Abstract
A nation's most precious assets are no longer buried underground in the form of natural resources. Today, a solid educational infrastructure is the key to a nation's and it's citizenry's success. Robert Larson discusses the importance of building global educational networks to address the needs of knowledge-impoverished populations in developing areas. These global learning networks will build a bridge, combating illiteracy and shrinking the digital divide.
