Abstract
The Web, the Internet, and maybe hand-held, wireless, palm-tops that recognize voice and handwriting are technologies education will have to embrace in the future. But new technologies don't just provide new ways to do old things, they change the very nature of what we were trying to do. This paper examines what fundamental changes in the Web, intelligent devices, and education might appear in the future given the current and expected trends in information technology.
