Abstract
This paper addresses the challenges of digital vs. analog services, network bandwidth, and delivery over internal and external networks, server technology, conversion technology, platform compatibility issues, and implications for learning and teaching. Included is a report on Dartmouth's experience, as well as information on planning, implementation, implications, and cost effectiveness of a move to digital services.
