Investing Wisely in Information Technology: Asking the Right Questions

Abstract

This viewpoint article askes the questions: How should the realities of the Information Age change the way we educate students? How do we coordinate access to equipment and encourage faculty to use new technologies? Institutional administrators must use an integrated, holistic approach to determine how to allocate resources for information technology investments and how information resources and technology can best support the institution's vision and priorities.
