Making Room for Yes: It Starts at the Top
Tuesday, August 24, 2010
Abstract
This ECAR research bulletin provides some practical suggestions on how IT can become a valued partner in the mission of the institution by creating a culture of yes. Doing so requires strong leadership and intentional management. Even more important, it requires that the IT organization accurately reflect the true nature of the wishes of institutional leaders and that it aggressively tracktechnology developments that can be applied for the good of the institution.
