Managing Information Technology as a Catalyst of Change: CAUSE93 Proceedings

Abstract
The CAUSE93 Proceedings is a compilation of the presentations offered at the 1993 CAUSE Annual Conference and offers papers dealing with issues on the management of information technology in higher education. Issues addressed include: strategic planning, managing and working with shrinking resources, changing responsibilities of IT personnel, setting policies and standards for user support, managing networking and telecommunications, delivering information technology to executives, teaching and learning, and management challenges for distributed services. It also includes summaries of constituent group meetings, current issues sessions, poster sessions, and corporate member participation from the largest CAUSE Annual Conference to date.
