Near "Ground Hero" -- IT Lessons Learned in NYC

The session will begin with a synopsis of efforts undertaken by the IT staffs at two New York City institutions, Pace University and New York University, to support their communities on September 11 and in the ensuing period. It will include summaries of lessons learned thus far from these experiences about preparedness, crisis management, and helping one another cope. The second half of the session will be devoted to informal Q&A.
