Abstract
Some folks, including myself, have lives that may be better measured by the challenges accepted rather than the successes won. This session will look at a few of my own personal flops, as well as those from much greater failures, and draw what few lessons have been gleaned. Along the way, a theory about the pivotal role of rock and roll will be advanced. Winner: 2003 EDUCAUSE Award for Leadership in Information Technologies.
