Organizational Models for Delivering Distance Learning

This Research Bulletin describes the organizational models adopted by six university systems or multi-campus universities that are delivering distance education. These models may help other institutions with their strategic planning (i.e., which functions are handled centrally and which are decentralized). Described is each institution's approach to governance, services, and funding, followed by a series of policy questions associated with distance education and online courses.
