Abstract
Trinity University is conducting a qualitative investigation to assess the pedagogical value of PowerPoint in the classroom. PowerPoint has been criticized as a tool that "routinely disrupts, dominates, and trivializes content" (Tufte, 2003), yet many educators consider it vital to their classroom activities. This study will survey students about their perception of the value of PowerPoint and also identify other indicators of outcomes (for example, grades and evaluations).
