Abstract
Small departments at small liberal arts institutions face several challenges in strengthening academic programs. The Associated Colleges of the South has found one solution in inter-institutional collaborative courses. Their experience offers many important lessons about distance education pedagogy and leveraging the resources of multiple institutions through collaboration.
