Abstract
Molly Corbett Broad, president of the sixteen-campus University of North Carolina System, presented a keynote address at the CAUSE98 conference in Seattle last December.1 CAUSE/EFFECT took this opportunity to ask President Broad a few questions about the role of information technology and advanced networking in the future of higher education, and some of the issues and challenges surrounding its widespread adoption.
