Abstract
New technologies are impacting higher education in the rapidly changing Digital Era. A "Net Effect" from the multiplicity of users, devices, services, and bandwidth will be examined, and suggestions given on what higher education institutions must do to cope. The ways in which teaching, learning, research, libraries, and administration are being impacted will also be presented, along with a set of ideas for the future.
