Thinkwell: Reinventing the Textbook for the 21st Century
Tuesday, November 20, 2012
Abstract
"Profiles of Next Generation Learning" is a video series produced by Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Each video explores the ways schools and campuses are leveraging technology to make learning more personal, more flexible, and more meaningful to today’s students.
In this video, learn how Thinkwell is bringing great teachers to students worldwide by recreating the traditional college textbook. This online textbook teaches students in a way that is engaging and dynamic which helps them to understand the basic college courses that are necessary for them to complete their degrees. Passionate professors bring their teaching to life through demonstrations, visualizations, storytelling and real-life scenarios captured in an online video format.
