Abstract

One of the outcomes of the Monterey Conference fall 2001 was the creation of an informal group which later called itself the "MFuG" or the Monterey Future's Group. This group has met several times since Monterey and developed a paper which discusses the networking needs and supporting technical requirements of the university community as it is now evolving.This is that paper.
