Abstract
Fairleigh Dickinson University now requires that every incoming student take one distance learning course per year of study. This first-in-the-country requirement, and new model of distance learning for higher education, poses numerous opportunities and challenges: curricular, technical, political, financial. Practical strategies for campus implementation will be offered.
