USC Hybrid High: A High School for the 21st Century
Monday, February 11, 2013
Abstract
“Profiles of Next Generation Learning” is a new video series produced by Next Generation Learning Challenges (NGLC) and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Each video explores the ways schools and campuses are leveraging technology to make learning more personal, more flexible, and more meaningful to today’s students.
In this video, learn how USC Hybrid High School is using technology to revolutionize education and achieve its goal of 100% high school graduation and college readiness. As its name suggests, USC Hybrid High School brings together different key components of education to revolutionize education and open doors for kids. Its personalized, mastery-based model combines digital learning with real-life applications, academic content support with emotional advisory, and flexible schedules with dynamic and open learning spaces.
