Where Is the Open Education Movement Going?

Tuesday, May 19, 2009

Abstract

What does the concept of "open education" mean in 2009? Is it simply a matter of sharing learning content, or is a broader set of principles and practices called into question as well? Where is the most interesting activity happening, and what are the biggest challenges? These are some of the questions Brian Lamb will pose in this seminar to the co-organizers of the 2009 Open Education Conference (August 12–14 in Vancouver, British Columbia): David Wiley, Scott Leslie, Chris Lott, and other mystery guests. Lamb and Wiley will field live questions from participants.
