Higher Education Compliance Alliance is a new online resource devoted to helping the higher education community comply with the ever-growing body of federal law and regulation that affects colleges and universities.
Federal regulations touch every facet of college and university operations, from employment law to export controls, from international programs to student affairs, from tax issues to accreditation. Dozens of national higher education associations monitor these regulations and produce valuable resources to help their members achieve compliance.
This partnership of 20 national associations, including EDUCAUSE, spearheaded by the National Association of College and University Attorneys (NACUA), aggregates compliance news and resources from EDUCAUSE and other participating associations, government agencies, and relevant websites. The Higher Education Compliance Alliance website is designed to be a continuously updated resource for administrators and others on campus seeking to understand their compliance obligations.
