Ameet Doshi

Biography

Ameet Doshi, MLIS, MPA joined Princeton University Library as Head of the Donald E. Stokes Library in 2021. He holds an MPA from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington and an MLIS from the University of Tennessee. He is currently working on his PhD in Public Policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology where his dissertation applies natural language processing to understand how non-scientists use open access research. Ameet has served on the American Library Association's Center for the Future of Libraries advisory board, and is a reviewer for the Journal of Learning Spaces and Performance Measurement and Metrics. He has been published in Energy Research & Social Science, Against the Grain, and Evidence Based Library and Information Practice.

Ameet collaborates with Stokes Library colleagues to support the School of Public and International Affairs (SPIA), the Office of Population Research, and Princeton students, faculty and researchers exploring policy-related topics. His research interests include computational social science, bibliometrics, and science and technology policy.
