Amin Shafie
Biography
Amin R. Shafie received his B.S. and M.S. degrees in applied mathematics from the University of Cincinnati. He also did graduate work for the Ph.D. degree. His present position at UC is Technology Specialist. His previous position was Assistant Director for Academic IT Services. In his current duties, Mr. Shafie manages and leads the University's effort in the e-Learning Services area. He also coordinates software licensing and software distribution services.Mr. Shafie has many interests, including being a teacher. He has taught mathematics, statistics, and IT courses. And he currently holds a position of Adjunct Assistant Professor in the College of Evening & Continuing Education at the University of Cincinnati .
