Biography
Andrea has been in the IT field for over ten years and worked as an Instructional Designer at Penn State since 2003. She currently works as a Senior Instructional Designer with the Penn State World Campus and leads a team of Instructional Designers and Instructional Production Specialists to design, develop, maintain and support nearly 100 online undergraduate courses.
Andrea has also taught academic courses in the Communication Arts and Sciences department, both in person and online, and conducted trainings on various topics related to information technology and communication. She got her Masters degree from Penn State University and her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University.
Before coming to Penn State, Andrea worked as a database programmer for a non-profit organization in Chicago.
