Ann Harris has been working in higher education for more than twenty years. She is currently serving the University of Portland as a member of the enterprise administrative application team. Her roles have included director of enterprise information technology services, technical team manager, and consultant.

She has been an active member of the Ellucian Banner community since establishing the student affairs technical support team responsible for the Banner Student Information System (SIS) in 1994. Ann has also lead initiatives to implement an enterprise mobile application, private social networking and collaboration solution, business intelligence solution, identity and access management, document imaging and workflow applications. In addition, she has served as chair and member of the Large School Consortium, a member of the Ellucian HR Community Source Initiative board, Department of Education Advisory Group on the Development of Electronic Products and the Oregon University System CIO/IT Directors.

Previously, Ann established and managed the technical services unit of Enrollment and Student Services, where she was responsible for the implementation of the Ellucian Banner Financial Aid module and the Self Service Student and Faculty modules. Ann had also served as a member of the Office of Financial Aid where she developed and co-licensed a financial aid software application for tracking, packaging and awarding financial aid and scholarships.
