Biography

Barrie retired May 31, 2018 after leading the Project Management Office at Old Dominion University since 2014. The Project Management office supports ITS by facilitating project selection and tracking through IT Project Governance, and by providing project managers with the resources they need to deliver expected results on time and within budget. Prior to ODU, she was part of the Office of Information Technology at Princeton University. She worked as both a project manager of large information system implementation projects and as a project management consultant. She also managed the annual IT planning process of collecting and selecting new project requests that align to University goals and objectives. Prior to Princeton University, Barrie was a Vice-President at Goldman Sachs in their Technology Division supporting Fixed Income applications. In 2008 the Project Management Institute certified Barrie as a Project Management Professional. Barrie received her BA at Hollins University.
