Brian is currently the Director of Systems Administration and Technical Operations at the University of Minnesota's Supercomputing Institute (MSI). He has been in this position since January 2007. Prior to that he was the Director of High Performance Computing (HPC) at Louisiana State University (LSU), providing services and support for the LSU research community as well as the state-wide Louisiana Optical Network Initiative (LONI). He held positions in and worked closely with the LSU Center for Computation and Technology (CCT) for several years. Brian has been engaged in higher educational research computing for more than 10 years. He represents his institution at in national organizations such as the Coalition for Academic Scientific Computing (CASC). Brian has a B.S. in Electrical Computer Engineering and a Masters in Business with a focus on Technology Management.
