Cara Giacomini is a researcher for UW Information Technology, the central technology unit at the University of Washington in Seattle. Her research helps the university identify the technology and support needs of faculty, researchers, students, and staff. Cara received her PhD in English and Textual Studies in 2003 from the University of Washington. During her graduate studies, she served as the Assistant Director of Computer-Integrated Courses for the Department of English, training faculty members and graduate students on how to teach with technology.
