Membership Information



Celeste Schwartz, Vice President for Information Technology and College Services at Montgomery County Community College, provides leadership and directs all aspects of the College's academic and administrative information technology management and strategies which focus on the College's continuing goal of student success. She also provides leadership and oversight for College Services that include the Bookstore and Food Service contracts, and shuttle services. Celeste has earned a Ph.D. from Walden University, M.S. from Villanova University, a B.S. from St. Joseph's University, and an A.A.S. from Montgomery County Community College.

Celeste co-chairs the President's Climate Council, the SSI (Student Success Initiatives) committee, is a member of the Information Technology All-College Advisory Committee, a member of the College's Computer Science Advisory Board, and the President's Leadership Council. Externals board include Pathway School Board, Ellucian Client Advisory Committee, and Keystone Initiative for Network Based Education and Research (Kinber) Board of Director. Has served as an evaluator for Middles States Commission.
