Biography
Christine E. Haile is Chief Information Officer at the University at Albany, a research-extensive campus of the SUNY System. Prior to joining UA in September 2001, she held the position of Associate Provost for Technology Services at the SUNY System Administration. Her professional experience in information technology spans a range of networking, library systems, distance learning, course-management, technology training, ERP and software support projects. Ms. Haile is a member of the Board of NYSERNet, and a past-Chair of the SUNY Council of CIOs, where she continues on the Executive Board. She received the Best of New York award for IT Leadership in 2004 and the Best IT Executive award from the Association of Technology and Women in 2007. She led the development and expansion of the SUNY Learning Network, which received the Educause 2001 award for Systemic Progress in Teaching & Learning.
