Clint Baclawski

Biography

Clint has been in Higher Education for eight years, serving the last six as the Computer Arts Center Lab Manager at Massachusetts College of Art and Design in Boston, MA. Prior to MassArt, Clint worked within the Art Department at Bucknell University, located in Central Pennsylvania. He received his MFA from MassArt in 2008 and his BFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 2003. At MassArt, Clint oversees the largest computer lab on campus, supporting all majors, including graphic designers, fashion designers, industrial designers, illustrators, animators, and architects. He specializes in print management, including playing an instrumental role in shifting the college from unlimited to paid student printing, introduction of wireless printing, and management of over 200 printers on campus. Additionally Clint is an accomplished visual artist who has exhibited his work nationally at the Chelsea Art Museum, New York NY, Snowflake Gallery, St. Louis, MO, San Diego Art Institute, and the Center for Photography at Woodstock. He was most notably published in The Collector’s Guide to New Art Photography Vol.2 by the Humble Arts Foundation. Clint also serves as the Design Director at Big Red & Shiny, a Boston-based, non-profit arts organization and online art journal. In 2013, Clint attended the National EDUCAUSE conference as a Ryland Fellow.
