Biography

Connie Deighan Eaton leads the teams responsible for the technical and support aspects of public computer labs, academic software access, public printing, and web access kiosks at Carnegie Mellon. In addition, she works on planning, developing, and implementing strategic IT services and projects that directly affect teaching and learning with technology.

Connie holds a B.S. from Carnegie Mellon and M.L.I.S. from the University of Pittsburgh and has completed a variety of professional development programs including the Carnegie Mellon Leadership Academy for Staff, the Educause Management Institute, the Effective Facilitator seminar, and is ITIL foundations certified. She is co-author on a book chapter in Cases for Higher Education Spaces: Innovation, Collaboration, and Technology (IGI Global Press) being released in late 2012.
