David has been working in I.T. in Higher Education for over 30 years in roles with increasing responsibility and impact to the organizations. Having started as an application programmer in the early 1980's, David actively pursued opportunities to explore new areas of technology and methodology as they emerged within our profession. Having taken on roles like DBA, then Data Administrator, and a variety of Management roles in IT. With the creation of a Strategic Practices group, David worked to introduce, mature and leverage new methodologies to the Institue, including Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, PMO, Business Resumption/Disaster Recovery, and most recently, a Continuous Service Improvement practice based on Lean Methodologies.
