Dave Antonacci is the Director of Teaching & Learning Technologies (TLT) at the University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC), where he provides campus leadership in the use of technology-based teaching and learning strategies, both in the classroom and at a distance. Dave transformed this department from primarily an online learning technical support unit into an award-winning, recognized leader in using technology to enrich and transform the teaching and learning experience. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in Health Information Management at KUMC, teaching (lead instructor) HEIM 501: Information Resources for Health Professions. Dave has a Doctorate in Instructional Technology from the University of Missouri-Columbia. His interests include 3D printing, virtual worlds, case-based reasoning, emerging technologies, online learning, and technology integration.
