David Burdette

Biography

David Burdette is an assistant director for UF Computing & Networking Services; the primary administrative data center at the University of Florida. He oversees data center operations and mainframe systems, does extensive technical writing, documenting IT issues for both technical staff and end-users. He also coordinates various public events to promote awareness of IT issues and services. Prior to moving to his current position, he spent approximately 13 years in the UF Registrar/Admissions office, holding positions from entry-level clerk to Assistant Registrar, including Admissions Officer and Institutional Research Coordinator. He has a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, and is proudly owned by one wife, one child, and one mortgage.
