Biography

David A. Starrett, PhD, is the Dean of the School of University Studies & Director of the Center for Scholarship in Teaching and Learning and Office of Instructional Technology at Southeast Missouri State University. A member of AGLS, ACAD, AACE, MERLOT and POD, and Senior Associate with the TLT Group, David has presented over 80 seminars, workshops and papers, including 30 invited presentations, over the past five years. David authors the National Teaching and Learning Forum TECHPED column and writes for Campus Technology magazine and others. David is a reviewer for MERLOT, To Improve the Academy and numerous journals and conference proposal review panels. David co-founded and co-leads MoTEC, the Missouri Public University inter-campus collaborative technology faculty development group. He has taught on-line since 1999. David has a PhD from UCLA in Plant Physiology.
