Biography

Edward Carter is the Manager of the Information Security Architecture and Response team at Ohio University, where he is tasked with the overall security of the university’s information assets. Ohio University has an enrollment of over 20,000 students, including 5 regional campuses, and employs over 4,800 people, including four full-time Security Analysts. Ed's responsibilities include managing the incident detection and response team, as well as performing vulnerability assessments and forensics. He also leads Information Security projects, and develops project plans. Ed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications Systems Management from Ohio University.
