Faye Johnson
Biography
Faye Johnson is the Assistant to the Executive Vice President and Provost at Middle Tennessee State University and the Co-Director of MTSU's Learning, Teaching and Innovative Technologies Center. In addtion to her involvement in the strategic planning initiativies for the University, she coordinates campus wide faculty development activities. Ongoing activities include, among others, a Faculty Mentoring Program and an annual Faculty Leadership Academy. A sociologist by training with degrees from MTSU and Vanderbilt University, she is the recipient of awards in teaching and public service and is a past recipient of the Southern Future Society Outstanding Educator in Higher Education Award. She conducts strategic planning workshops and seminars for educational, corporate and non-profit groups . Her latest projects focus on the integration of hands on student learning with faculty use of innovative methodologies and technologies.EDUCAUSE Presentations
