Fred Miller

Biography

Dr. Miller is the Marvin Kuschner Professor of Pathology. He was a major player in the development of the initial curriculum at the School of Medicine and has been involved in curriculum issues and teaching innovation for over 40 years. He is the recipient of virtual all awards for teaching excellence. He is trained i pathology and internal medicine with interests in renal disease, ocular disease, vasculitis, rheumatic diseases, heart disease and environmental disease. His research has focused on glomerulonephritis, immunology, and environmental diseases. He served as departmental chair for over 25 years and continues as an active clinical and anatomic pathologist. HGe is very much involved in electronic aids to instruction (interactive devices) and teaching at a distance.
