Biography

I am the Assistant Director for Learning Technology at the Kaneb Center for Teaching and Learning. For over 30 years I have been helping faculty use technology in their courses. I write the blog NspireD2, teach workshops on pedagogy and technology, manage the Learning Technology Lab website. and represent ND at the Learning Technology Consortium. My recent projects include editing a book of essays on teaching with technology, developing mobile apps, publishing in the OpenCourseWare space, and teaching a summer course in Spain (en español). I regularly teach Applied Multimedia Technology and serve on the staff of the Wakonse Conference on College Teaching. I studied Spanish at Cornell, education at the University of Rochester, and instructional design at Penn State.
