As Deputy Chief Information Officer, Geof provides strategic technology leadership for the university, in addition to direct oversight of the enterprise-wide ERP (SAP) and business intelligence/analytics solutions, supporting both the Johns Hopkins University and the Johns Hopkins Health System; the university's student and related administrative systems; and systems and services that support teaching and learning and research activities throughout the university.

Geof holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the G.W.C. Whiting School of Engineering at JHU, where he concentrated his studies in Medical Computing and Computer Assisted Surgery, and an MBA from the Carey Business School at JHU, with a concentration in Marketing. He has had the good fortune to work for Goldman Sachs, for the Yale School of Medicine, and in e-business consulting before, during, and after the dot-com era. Geof is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
