Biography

M.Sc., former biochemist/researcher, who has been an IT manager for over 20 years now. Formerly head of IT at 2 private research institutions, then manager of network services of FUNET (The Finnish academic Internet), later head of production at a large ISP. 1998-2003 working abroad in Switzerland at a large global pharma company as global head of web services and senior IT strategist. CIO of University of Helsinki since 1.1.2005. Married, no children. Hobbies: voluntary service work at Lions Clubs International, wine tastings & wine clubs, model railroad club member.
